Interactive Japanese Tea & Sweets Tasting Experience
Interested in discovering the Japanese tea culture? Join our interactive Japanese tea & sweets tasting, where you’ll explore both traditional and modern ways of enjoying organic Japanese teas and matcha, carefully selected by the owner of TEA THE MOMENT Akira. Paired with a sweet treat to enhance the flavors, this tasting will deepen your knowledge of the Japanese tea culture. By the end, you’ll gain a new perspective on how to drink and enjoy these teas. Let’s have a cup of tea together!

Hanfu Hairsticks
Chinese Hanfu Hairsticks or hairpins were used during the Qin dynasty.
Hairsticks played an important role in the coming of age of Han Chinese women. When a woman turned 15 she would have a hairpin ceremony held to mark the rite of passage to becoming and adult. They were also used during engagments. Hanfu hairstick are now as elaborate hair accessories and often used in Qi lolita cosplay.

In this 45-minute session, you’ll learn: what is matcha, how to select quality matcha, the basic tools for making matcha, the best temperature for preparing matcha, the best milk options for both hot and iced matcha lattes, and how to create and enjoy your very own matcha latte.

Kyaraben
Kyaraben is a lunchbox featuring anime and game characters created with food. Learn how to make Kyaraben in a fun way from an experienced Japanese instructor! Just look at this Kirby—it’s almost too cute to eat!

Dream Decoden
Decoden is a modern Japanese art form, where you decorate objects  such as phone cases and photo frames with colourful cream glue and  then embellishing it with cute resin charms and gems.
Decoden is a short form of “Decorate DenWa” which means decorate mobile phone. Typically phone cases are elaborately covered with the colourful cream to look like real cake icing and then embellished with cute charms, gems and jewels and finished with colourful sprinkles and glitter.

Kintsugi
Never worry again when your favorite cup breaks – thanks to the beautiful art of kintsugi! In this masterclass, discover the ancient Japanese art form where broken pottery is repaired with gold lines, transforming each piece into something not only beautiful but also unique and more resilient.

Narcotic Kimbap
