Last week was Gaming Week at Heroes Made in Asia! In this week we shared various gaming highlights and activities surrounding the Gaming Area with you. This article lists everything we shared so far.
Twitch streamer Avithall
Avithall is coming to HMiA and will be sitting in the Influencer Hub for a photo and/or autograph! She loves games like Overwatch, The Evil Within, Marbles on Stream, Genshin Impact, and Pokémon! Her Twitch channel is all about inclusivity, positivity and motivation. She will surely take this with her to Heroes Made in Asia!
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournament
You can participate in a Super Smash Bros. Tournament! The tickets for went on sale last week. You can participate in a 1 vs 1 tournament on both Saturday and Sunday. Do you think you have the skills to beat everyone and take the first prize of 300 euros? Then buy your ticket now in our ticketshop!
This tournament is organized by mCon LG UltraGear and AFK Esports.
Other tournaments
In addition to the Super Smash Bros. Tournament, there’s a number of other tournaments that you can participate in. These are organized by mCon. To participate in these tournaments you can register at the mCon stand in the Gaming Area during Heroes Made in Asia. You can participate in the following tournaments:
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- Tekken 7
- Pokémon Unite
Free 2 play area
Apart from being able to participate in tournaments of various games, you can play these games in the Free 2 Play area. This way you can see if the games are something for you or just improve your skills in these games! The games you can play here are: Dragon Ball FighterZ, Tekken 7 and Pokémon Unite!
HADO
HADO is returning this edition of Heroes Made in Asia. HADO is the world’s first physical sport to combine sports & gaming using Augmented Reality (AR). Dodgeball 3.0: Players see the actual + projected environment through AR glasses. They compete as a team (3 vs. 3) in an arena, where they try to knock out their opponents with digital energy balls (‘Hadoken’).
HADO was conceived in Japan in 2014 and is already played in >35 countries by millions of people, including at international tournaments (World Cup + European Championship). HADO is the sport of the future, a unique experience suitable for young and old.
